What is a terminal audit?
A Terminal Audit is a forensic recompilation of a failed company's deal documents. Each Terminal Audit runs only on what an investor had in front of them at the time: the pitch narrative, the financial statements and the cap table. Public records — registration statements, enforcement actions, court and bankruptcy filings — are cited so a reader can pull the same documents and check the work. The outcome is never an input: no indictment, verdict or Chapter 11 petition is compiled into a score. No private information. No hindsight bias. Only the structural signature that a deterministic compiler would have surfaced before capital was deployed.
